In response to the evolving demands of the markets in which we operate (Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca), we have developed this specialised practice area over time to address the emerging needs of technology-driven companies within our client portfolio. We provide legal advisory services, as well as legal assistance and representation in disputes, covering all matters related to information technology and artificial intelligence law, including intellectual property, cybersecurity, sector-specific contractual arrangements, data protection and ePrivacy, e-commerce, product liability and consumer protection, as well as compliance with applicable national and international regulations. Our current primary focus, in the context of European regulatory developments and market requirements, is compliance with the EU Artificial Intelligence Act – Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act). In this regard, we advise clients throughout the process of acquiring AI-enabled products intended for use in their day-to-day operations, as well as on the drafting of internal policies and procedures for the use of artificial intelligence and the management of associated risks, tailored to the specific requirements of each client and their industry. In addition, we deliver training sessions, workshops and educational presentations designed to support the effective implementation of internal AI-related policies and procedures among employees and collaborators, complementing specialised AI literacy programmes.
